When a mom caught her son using his phone after bedtime, a rule he knew was strictly not allowed. She took the appropriate steps and grounded him. She set out punishments where he could amend his wrongdoing by earning points.
The goal he needed to reach to annul the punishment was 500 points.
His mother gave him the option of choosing what chores he would have to do.
She created a clever list of numerous household chores and little jobs he could do around the house, each offering different reward point values.
This is the list she wrote:
Congratulations! You got grounded!!! To get rid of your penalty, you must earn ___500_____ points.
Offense: _____ Playing on the mobile phone after bedtime _____
